Our apartments
Sunset apartments is our family accommodation business in the tourist Pefki of northern Euboea.
Our apartments provide you a comfortable and pleasant stay. Our unit is located on the coastal road, opposite the sea. Single or double rooms with large terraces or courtyards can accommodate 1 to 6 people, full of comforts, air conditioning, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, bathroom with hairdryer and amenities, kitchen fully equipped to food preparation, ironing equipment. There is also provided baby equipment, playpen, dinning seat for our little friends at no extra charge.
Pefki
In Pefki-Artemisio and in the surrounding you can visit important sights of the area, such as Mavroelia of Artemisio over 2.500 years old, the Naval Fortress of North Evia built before the 2nd World War (1938) on Metaxas, the Gerakious waterfall with its magnificent pond and the tower of the poet Georgios Drosinis in Gouves, an old preserved two-storey building of 100 square meters with Venetian architecture.
General information
Pefki is an ideal destination for your holidays, especially for family vacation, providing a comfortable stay to rest, relax and have fun on its large organized beach and coastal pedestrian path, almost 2 km long.
Little friends will have fun on the playgrounds and with the various events, children’s performances with Karagiozi, puppetry and other activities during the summer months.
The water activities of the area will excite you, windsurfing, canoeing, fishing, but also in the mountains walks, hiking, cycling and horse riding are some of the unforgettable ones.
Since 2020, the Authentic Swimming Marathon has been established, in honor of the first long-distance swimmers, Skyllia and Idnas, who contributed with their achievement to the triumph of the Greek fleet over the Persian in the historic Naval Battle in 480 BC. This unforgettable international race takes place every summer in the alleys of Artemisio and everyone can participate.

Artemisio (Pefki) was named after by goddess Artemis, wandering in this area and worshiping her Sanctuary, which comes to the surface during the excavations the last few years.
In 480 BC in the sea of Artemisio, the naval battle between the Greek and Persian fleets of Xerxes took place during the Persian Wars, decisive for the development of history.
The famous bronze statue of Poseidon or Zeus of Artemisio in 1928 came out from the bottom of the sea. Is exhibited in the National Archaeological Museum of Greece, however the replica is in its place of origin in Pefki.
Evia
Evia, in its land, is a tourist attraction with a rich historical past and extremely interesting monuments on the journey through time.
In South Evia we find the Dragon Houses of Ochi and Styra, as well as the “Kokkinokastro” in the area of Karystos.
In Central Evia, we will visit the Ancient Theater of Eretria and the Macedonian Tomb (4th century BC), the castle of Karabamba in Chalkida (built by the Turks in 1684), many Venetian towers, Byzantine churches and monasteries.
In Northern Evia, we are enchanted by the Venetian towers in Rovies, the remarkable archeological collection and the marble statue of a bull in a position of attack, larger in size than a real, 4th century work located in Oreos. In Neos Pyrgos are preserved the ruins of a Venetian building on the rocky islet “Monastery”, just opposite the beach of Nisiotissa.
In Istiaia, one of the oldest cities of Evia, the post-Byzantine church of Agios Nikolaos is preserved.
We must also visit the tower of the poet Georgios Drosinis in Gouves, a listed two-storey building of 100 sq.m. with stone walls 1m. Venetian architecture, in the halls of which we can see works of folk art of the area.
Artemisio (Pefki) was named by the goddess Artemis. She wandered in this area and worshiped her Sanctuary.
